now (b.1954 Bristol Connecticut and early years spent in Maryland) lives in New York City, where he works as a commercial photographer and artist. He took-up photography as a teenager (self-taught). Throughout his career, he had read diligently on photography and was, ultimately, inspired by Ansel Adam's literature - the Zone System, in particular. Paul's subjects range from the early days of Circus participants to digital photography of manipulated people we see, more prominently, today.
His earlier Black and White prints have been collected by the Corcoran Gallery of Art Washington, D.C. and Erie Art Museum Erie Pennsylvania. He currently shows Marion Royael Gallery in Beacon New York and W22 Galeria in San Jose Costa Rica.
